Review
The daily planning ritual is the product: pull tasks in, give them time, and shut the day down. That ritual is useful and it is also the price of admission. Skip it and the app is an empty calendar you feel behind on. It is a poor fit if you want a two-second inbox.
What holds up
- The shutdown ritual gives the day an ending
- Tasks get a duration, which time blindness needs
- Pulling from other tools can be the capture step
Where it breaks
- The ritual is mandatory in practice
- The subscription is hard to justify in a skipped week
